When a station protector is used indoors, it can be mounted without a cover or other enclosure. Tii module adapters are designed to allow Tii’s protector modules to be mounted in an indoor installation without a protective enclosure. Module adapters can also be used in a wide variety of network interface housings. The adapter mounts either one or two modules.

The Non-Contact Voltage Detector (NCVD) allows a communication technician to test a work location for the presence of potentially hazardous Alternating Current voltages. The NCVD detects the presence of the electric field associated with a live circuit without making contact to the wire or device under test. The NCVD is molded out of insulating thermoplastic material to further reduce the risk of exposure.
The NCVD filters out 20Hz frequencies associated telephone ring signals and high frequency noise >200Hz to greatly minimize false readings. Optional accessories include a leather tool belt pouch, conductive cap, and coiled ground wire.

160 Series Indoor/Outdoor Protector Enclosures shield Tii’s Total Failsafe® (TFS®) Protector Modules or other electronic devices from most environmental conditions. It has a mounting base, a flexible grommet and a fitted flange cover that snaps tightly closed.

155 and 155-01 type ground lug connectors ground the shield of two to six pairs of buried service wires. Tii ground connectors install by backing out the set screw and feeding the wire between the body and blade so that the exposed shield is fully in contact with the connector body.

8925 Series Network Interface Devices (NIDs) are compact devices that specifically designed to be used in place of the “66” type block. 8925 NIDs utilize the same footprint as the standard 66 block.
