Key Product Benefits

• The 98-1 is completely interchangeable with Tii’s 95 Series Customer Bridge Modules and can be snapped into any customer bridge module position in Tii’s NIDs
• The 98-2 can be mounted in the Telco side of the NID
• To simplify termination of coax cable in the NID, the coax can be terminated to the CSM exterior to the NID. Once the coax is attached to the CSM, it can then be easily snapped into place. This unique feature provides adequate space to connect and install the coax cable.

The 98 Coax Service Module (CSM) provides a protected or unprotected coax connection in Tii’s series of Outdoor Broadband Network Interface Devices (NIDs).

Key Product Benefits

• Protects satellite receivers
• Unique strip line design is impedance matched to 75 ohms and is completely transparent to all signals transmitted from 0.9 to 2.2 GHz
• Metallic housing provides EMI shielding
• Available with single or dual LNB connections

The 231 Series Coaxial Surge Protectors are specifically designed for satellite dish installations. The 231 protects the satellite dish, the receiver and the antenna from lightning induced surges.

Key Product Benefits

• Isolates Coax shield — preventing unwanted ground loop current on the shield of the cable, which can cause noise and degrade picture quality
• DC Block on center conductor protects electronic equipment from hazardous voltages and electrical transients
• Designed to work with today’s high bandwidth networks
• Shows superior RF performance operating at a frequency range of 5 MHz-1 GHz. Maximum insertion loss is 0.5 dB at 1 GHz

The 220 coaxial isolator provides galvanic isolation both the shield and center conductors of a standard 75 ohms coaxial system while maintaining low insertion loss for RF signals. The isolator eliminates ground loops, and provides a degree of protection for electronic equipment from electrical transients and inadvertently “Hot” coax shield or center conductors. This helps prevent unwanted noise and picture interference in cable television systems. The isolator’s frequency range is suitable for IPTV installations utilizing HPNA or MoCA signaling over coaxial cable.

Key Product Benefits

• Ideally suited to shield costly digital set-top boxes, expensive stereos and home equipment systems, sensitive internet cable modems, personal computers, big screen TVs and high-end HDTV sets from potentially damaging surges
• Can also protect satellite receivers in the cable headend
• Unique In-Line® design is impedance matched to 75 ohms and is virtually transparent to all analog or digital bi-directional signals transmitted from DC to 1.0 GHz

Tii’s cutting edge In-Line® Coaxial Lightning Surge Protector protects personnel and customer premises equipment from lightning and power induced surges on coaxial drop cables. It is specifically designed for today’s Broadband Hybrid Fiber-Coax (HFC) and Fiber-To-The-Curb (FTTC) distribution networks.

Key Product Benefits

• Greatly increases network reliability and significantly improves system survivability
• Primary Coaxial surge protectors limit the magnitude of unwanted induced high-voltage surge currents that may appear on the center conductor of a coaxial cable
• Unique In-line® design is impedance matched to 75 ohms and is transparent to all analog or digital bi-directional signals transmitted at frequencies from DC to 50 MHz
• Coaxial gas tube protector is equipped with an integral fail short mechanism to protect against power-cross surges

Designed specifically for today’s broadband coax distribution networks, Tii’s state-of-the-art, In-Line® Coaxial Surge Arrester protects personnel and equipment from lightning and power-induced excess voltage surges on coaxial cable circuits.

Key Product Benefits

• Ideally suited to protect Broadband CATV subscriber’s costly HDTV receivers, DVRs, cable modems, home networking components and interfaces from potentially damaging surges
• Will reduce “out of warranty” repair expense caused by surge lightning damage. Reduces service outages by protecting against induced high-voltage surges that may appear on the center conductor of a coaxial drop cable
• Unique In-Line® design is impedance matched to 75 ohms and is virtually transparent to all analog or digital bi-directional signals transmitted from DC to 1.0 GHz

Tii’s cutting edge In-Line® Coaxial Lightning Surge Protectors protect personnel and customer premises equipment, e.g. Televisions, Cable Set Top Boxes and Cable Modems from lightning and power induced surges on coaxial cables. They are specifically designed for today’s Broadband signals carried over the coax cables.
