Key Product Benefits

• Available in a 350V five-pin configuration
• Compatible with other manufacturers’ equipment
• Quality components: high-speed diode, superior 3-element gas tube, and dependable sneak fuse
• Reduces service calls and repair costs

The Delta™ Protector provides premium, high-speed protection for sensitive communications and data equipment. The module of choice in high lightning areas, the Delta offers superior protection from overvoltages and overcurrents preventing costly damages to equipment.
The Delta™ Protector coordinates very high speed diodes with a powerful, three-element gas tube. When exposed to high voltage conditions, the diode, with a response time of less than 5 nanoseconds, reacts to clamp the voltage until the gas tube ionizes and shunts the energy to ground.

Key Product Benefits

• Heat activated fail-safe mechanism provides additional protection
• Available with test points to access the outside plant
• Prevents costly damage to circuitry and extends equipment life
• Protects personnel from dangerous voltage surges

Tii 5-pin Gas Tube with PTC modules are dependable plug-in devices that guard sensitive telecommunications systems from dangerous voltage surges. The three-element GDT with 4 Ohm (nominal resistance) PTCs provide both overvoltage and overcurrent protection. This prevents destructive line-to-line overvoltages and sneak currents from reaching valuable telecom equipment. The combination of GDT and PTCs provide excellent electrical protection while minimally affecting high frequency DSL and ISDN signals.

Key Product Benefits

• Designed for line protection for sensitive voice and data equipment
• Balanced three-electrode design

Tii gas tube modules are dependable plug-in devices that guard sensitive telecommunications systems from dangerous voltage surges. The gas tube utilizes a three-element design. This prevents destructive line-to-line over voltages, protecting PBXs and key systems in a way that conventional two-element gas tubes cannot. The modules include heat activated fail-safe mechanism that provides additional protection against power crosses. Test points allow easy test access to the outside plant.

Key Product Benefits

• Available in 75V, 240V, and 300V
• Quick transient surge response time reduces harmful let-through voltage
• Designed to protect equipment and data from high voltage spikes
• Compatible with other manufacturers equipment

Tii-Porta Systems Solid State Protector Modules provide premium high-speed protection for sensitive communication equipment. Internal test points allow easy access to outside plant.

Key Product Benefits

• Less than 5 nanoseconds response time with 240V Solid State protection element
• Detent position facilitates testing
• Fails “safe” by permanently shorting to ground in the event of sustained overvoltage
• Minimizes transmission loss at high frequencies
• Extremely low capacitance, balanced overvoltage protection
• Corrosion resistant gold plated pins standard

Tii’s line of DSL Solid State Protector Modules provides dependable protection for today’s high speed communications networks. Balanced, ultralow capacitance, solid state circuitry minimizes noise and signal loss in high frequency networks. The modules protect sensitive circuitry by responding to surges in nanoseconds. Breakdown voltage is tightly controlled by clamping precisely and dependably even after long repeated use. An integral fail-safe mechanism permanently shorts the protector to ground in the presence of sustained overvoltage.
