Fiber Interface Devices / Slack Storage Terminals

Fiber Interface Device / Slack Storage Units are compact enclosures that provide connectivity between the OSP fiber drop and the customer fiber drop, plus slack storage at the demarcation point. Enclosures are available in a range of sizes accommodating up to 12 fiber terminations, for indoor and outdoor installation. Custom logo printing is available on all enclosures.

169F Fiber NID Interface Device

The 169F is the smallest member of the FISS family: a compact enclosure providing a demarcation and transition point between the fiber drop cable and the customer premise fiber. Its internal fiber routing system maintains proper bend radius and stores slack of bend-insensitive fiber. Designed to pair with Tii’s 169 Series sealed terminal platform.

171F Fiber Transition Enclosure

The 171F is a compact enclosure providing a demarcation and transition point between fiber drops and downstream devices. Its optional copper connectivity makes it an ideal interface to the customer premise, small cells, DAS, or G.fast modem devices — and its NEMA-4 / IP-66 rating suits exposed outdoor mounts.

The 506F provides demarcation between the OSP fiber drop and customer fiber drop with generous slack storage, in a compact indoor/outdoor housing configurable from 1 to 24 ports.

506R Series Reeled Fiber Dispenser

The 506R provides demarcation between the fiber drop and customer distribution fiber, shipped preloaded with up to 125 feet of pre-connectorized Peelable Indoor/Outdoor MicroDrop fiber stored on a rotating reel for distribution into the home — dispensing to length on site for a fast FTTH deployment with no field connectorization.

509R Series Reeled Fiber Interface Enclosure

The 509R combines a fiber reel preloaded with up to 125 ft of connectorized distribution fiber with slack storage for up to 75 ft of OSP flat drop cable, in a NEMA-4 rated enclosure — dispensing pre-connectorized fiber to greatly reduce installation time.
